We never did attend the Day Out with Thomas when our boys were younger, but that would be the age to do so. Nevertheless, when I had the opportunity to help promote it and was offered tickets for doing so our family of four attended. I have a short video at the end of this post of some of the sights and sounds of our visit.
Before you watch the video I want to mention that while the tickets to ride the train can be costly, families not wanting to ride were able to pay a little money to enter the tent area where all the other activities were happening, such as: inflatables, play areas, train tables and a shopping area.
There were numerous porta-potties and a water tank and hand washing station. The water from the water tank (fill your water bottle or get a drink) was warm so come prepared. The train ride itself was air-conditioned which was a welcome relief that day because it was SO HOT outside! Enjoy our short video below.
